Scandia’s Restaurant was the national epicenter for Scandinavian cusine from 1946-1989. Located on Sunset Boulevard in an expansive mid-century building, Scandia saw a veritable who’s who of Hollywood during it’s heyday. The apple cake was the star of their dessert menu, a unique layered cake filled with roasted apples, almonds, “cake crumbs” and topped with a generous serving of whipped cream. Learn More
